We arrived last night at the Lisbon hotel in Sengerema around 8:00 pm. The hotel only has seven rooms, so we had booked them all plus several rooms in a hotel next to it. The Eads had preceded us by two hours and ordered a chicken dinner for everyone. In typical African fashion, we waited until 11:00 pm until dinner was served. But Elias was there with us, so we had a profitable time asking him about his life and ministry.
Today, Sunday, we left Sengerema at 7:00 am for Nyakaliro, where we had a combined service with the Nyakaliro and Lusolelo churches. The picture to the left was taken following that service.
At 12:00 pm we hopped back on the rented safari vehicles and made the 2.5 hour trek back to Sweya. Kara, Beth, and Liz had prepared a snack of fruits and veggies, which was a great treat.
By 4:00 pm we were back in church, this time with the Sweya and Shadi believers in Sweya.
It was a good day to be back with our brothers and sisters in Christ from all four churches (after spending the last 10 weeks in the USA), and to introduce some from our US church family to them.

Wow!!! What a big crowd there was. Wonderful!!!

I am so happy for the group to be able to be there and spend some time with you guys. Can you post a picture of the whole IC group? Just so I can know who to be jealous of? :) Praying for your family and the re-entry adjustments back to life there after some stateside time.
