Craig, Bo, Elias, and I took the LandCruiser to Nyakaliro this morning. Elias had been in town to sell a piece of land that he bought eight years ago. Land values have increased with the expansion of the nearby university, so now was a good time for him to unload the land and make a nice profit. Bo wanted to meet Elias' family and Jonas, the pastor in Lusolelo. I wanted to use the drive time to talk with Elias about the Sengerema church plant and visit Jonas and family in their home next to the Lusolelo church. I'll write more about the Sengerema church plant later this week. Jonas and his family are doing well. They have been working hard on their farm to supplement Jonas' meager income as pastor-in-training of the Lusolelo church. Their picture is to the left.
Elias has been storing my motorcycle for the past ten days, so Craig drove the LandCruiser back and I took the Yamaha.
We saw a five-foot snake near Jonas' place. You can see the picture in the Flora and Fauna album, and a few others in the Church Planting album.

I love knowing who and what you are talking about now! Even though it was a short trip and quick 'connections' with people, I'm holding onto it tightly and have a new appreciation for the updates and news you post. Thank you!
