During our trip, I have enjoyed seeing with my eyes a small part of the culture and language of the people here in Tanzania. I have benefitted greatly by experiencing this trip.
1. Our time at Tumaini has given me a burden to better pray for the work at Shadi. I have loved getting to know the children and caregivers there. Visiting Tumaini makes me so thankful to God for His work in these orphan children’s lives. They are learning how to live for God while they grow up in a caring atmosphere. This ministry is truly amazing.
2. I also greatly enjoyed meeting the Tanzanian pastors here. Talking with Elias, Samson, and Paulo was a challenging and encouraging experience. We heard them express their love for God and His ministry. These men have been trained by God’s grace to love their people and preach His Truth.
3. Our time with the Howells, the Eads, and Beth have been one of the biggest blessings of this trip. Their love for God and for the Tanzanian people is a huge challenge to my heart. They have joy in the work God has given to them, and strive to express that joy and love to the people here. I have loved getting to know them.
I am so thankful to the Lord for allowing me to visit the work here in Tanzania.

Laura, I'm so God gave you the opportunity to come too. We throughly enjoyed fellowship with you and must stay in touch.
